Apologies for Blogging Absence

I hope readers will excuse my absence from this space for the last few weeks. It has been a busy time here. Also, for 8 of those days, I was on a vacation on the East Coast of Canada, specifically Nova Scotia and St. John's Newfoundland. Great people. Great music. Excellent beers.

In Halifax, I can highly recommend the Old Triangle Irish Ale House (5136 Prince St.) for great music, decent food, and of course, a nice selection of beer.

In St. John's, Newfoundland, of course we had to visit the famous George Street. And spent our two evenings there at O'Reilly's Irish Newfoundland Pub - for great music. The place is something of a local tradition and it didn't disappoint.

Any Maritimers among the readers of this blog???

Of course, cod cheeks, fish and chips, awesome scenery in St. John's, the pleasures of Halifax, and the beautiful Nova Scotia countryside tied it all together. All in all, a great trip.
